TapRoot Community Land Trust (TCLT) is a nonprofit housing organization serving Ulster County and surrounding areas. Quality, stable, and affordable housing is not a privilege but a right that everyone deserves. Each home placed into the trust is permanently designated for affordable home ownership, serving household after household, generation after generation, thereby protecting and stabilizing the community as a whole.

Our vision is to have a sustainable portfolio of homes reserved for affordability so that no one now or in the future is displaced from their community due to limited income or a lack of affordable housing.
